"The best kind of sleep under heaven above, is under a blanket handmade with love."
Our volunteers, known as “blanketeers,” provide new, handmade, washable blankets to be given as gifts to seriously ill and traumatized children, ages 0-18.
All blanket styles are welcome, including quilts, tied comforters, fleece blankets, crocheted or knitted afghans, and receiving blankets in child-friendly colors.
Always remember that blankets must be handmade, washable, free of pins, and come from smoke-free environments because of allergies.

You can help us to label, roll, tie, tag and deliver blankets.
Interested volunteers to take completed quilt tops and add batting and backing to finish the quilts.
Monetary donations are always welcome. There are many groups in Story/Boone/Polk who are interested in making blankets but don't have the funds to purchase materials. Through donations and grants, this Project Linus chapter can enable their volunteer activities.
